MARKET RESEARCH MANAGER (M/W)

In dieser Position sind Sie für die Analyse, Aufbereitung und Interpretation der Marktdaten aller Verwertungsstufen eines Films (Kino, Home Entertainment, Digital, TV) verantwortlich. Sie gestalten und entwickeln diese neu geschaffene Position maßgeblich eigenverantwortlich und bringen durch innovative Analysen und Ihre Handlungsempfehlungen neue Impulse in unsere Arbeit.

Ihre Aufgaben:
• Zentrale Schnittstelle für die Aufbereitung und Analyse aller Marktdaten (Gfk/ Rentrak/ Agof/ Mediacontrol/ Nielsen etc.)
• Ansprechpartner für Auswertungen zu verschiedensten Fragestellungen
• Proaktive Umsetzung eigener Analysen
• Ableitung von Handlungsempfehlungen
• Aufbereitung von Informationen in Standard- und Adhoc-Präsentationen
• Allgemeine Trendforschung und Konkurrenzbeobachtung
• Durchführung von Online-Tests und Fokusgruppen
• Weiterentwicklung von Business Intelligence und Analytics Tools


Ihr Profil:
• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes kommunikations-, sozial- oder wirtschaftswissenschaftliches Studium mit Schwerpunkt Marktforschung
• 3-5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Medien- oder Marktforschung
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse der deutschen Medienlandschaft und der wichtigsten Player der Datenerhebung und -analyse
• Interesse am Medium Film
• Sehr gute analytische und konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten im Umgang mit komplexen Daten
• Ausgeprägte Argumentationsfähigkeit und Überzeugungskraft
• Proaktive und teamorientierte Arbeitsweise
• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse

PRAKTIKANTEN MARKETING THEATRICAL & HOME ENTERTAINMENT (M/W)

Ihre Aufgaben:
• Unterstützung des Teams bei allen anfallenden Aufgaben
• Mitarbeit bei der Entwicklung und Umsetzung neuer Marketingstrategien
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit externen Medienagenturen
• Vorbereitung von Präsentationen
• Betreuung von Film-Homepages
• Datenanalyse und -pflege
• Koordination verschiedener Prozesse, z. B. Gewinnspielaktionen
• Diverse Recherchearbeiten und administrative Tätigkeiten

Ihr Profil:
• Immatrikulierter Student höheren Semesters der Medien-/Kommunikations-/Filmwissenschaften o.ä.
• Grundlegende Kenntnisse im Medien- und Marketingbereich
• Ausgeprägte Filmleidenschaft
• Sehr gute MS-Office-Kenntnisse (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Erste praktische Erfahrungen, vorzugsweise im Marketingbereich
• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse

JOB TITLE: Digital and Social Media intern
REPORTING TO: UK Digital and Social Media Manager
DEPARTMENT: Theatrical Marketing
DATE: ASAP, 6 months work placement, part of Erasmus/Leonardo Program

Role Overview:
Support the UK Digital and Social Media Manager in her daily administrative tasks.

Main Duties:
• Assisting digital & social manager with implementation of engaging campaigns for our theatrical and home entertainment releases
• Collating copy for approval by the Digital & Social Manager and making sure it is in accordance with STUDIOCANAL house style, best practice, and the required messaging for individual titles.
• Maintaining and updating our STUDICOANAL website and UK digital channels with the latest information and materials. Assisting with the uploading of content for every title including Facebook and Twitter cover art, profile pics, headers and banners for every title.
• Working with Creative team to ensure timely delivery of all creative required for
social promotions and promoted posts
• Assisting with day-to-day social campaign activity, working with Marketing execs on coordinating and scheduling third party promotional activity with brand partners and cinemas.
• Updating reactions file after screenings at festivals, press screenings and
promotional events
• Assist in the production of standardized reports for each title, based on the strategy
set by the Digital & Social Manager
• Liasing with Theatrical Marketing, Publicity and Sales teams to ensure they are up to
date with current campaigns and using the social audience data to inform their strategy for smaller titles when necessary
• Tracking competitor activity on other studio channels and updating team on regular basis and setting Google alerts for certain films
• Working with merchandising manager on seasonal catalogue campaigns

Experience, Skills, Knowledge, Education


Required skills & experience
• Experienced and enthusiastic in using social with a good level of basic knowledge
• Excellent communication and copy-writing skills, impeccable English
• Confident user of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and basic knowledge of Google
• Analytics and AdWords or ad delivery networks would be useful
• Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment and prioritise between multiple projects
• University degree, with a keen interest in film and entertainment and all things digital

Desirable but not essential skills
• Previous experience in Digital Marketing or digital media studies
• Experience of tools such as HootSuite or Buffer would be useful but not essential.
• Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or any other Adobe software also a plus
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript would be a plus

REPORTING TO: Production and Acquisitions Assistant

Role Overview:

Support the Production and Acquisitions Assistant in her daily administrative tasks and some
office tasks.

Main Duties:

• Handling office tasks as and when (burning DVDs, Complete any runs/collections, etc)
• Recording all submissions and therefore update lists and databases for Production and Acquisitions on a daily basis
• Printing all departmental agendas prior to meetings and preparing agendas for the submissions call and Production team meeting
• Booking meeting rooms, venues and taxis/couriers when necessary
• Supporting in the preparation of all Film Markets. Day-to-day research, prepare schedule and other documents for markets and festivals (compile festival booklet, etc)
• Keeping up to date Production and Acquisitions documents (contacts list, Crew list, etc)
• Filing (DVD library, Physical Production files, etc)
• Printing out Scripts and distribute to the team and readers when necessary
• Adhoc research

REPORTING TO: Head of Theatrical Publicity

MAIN DUTIES
- Summarise and save cuttings daily in relevant folders and circulate coverage to STUDIOCANAL Theatrical
- Collect weekend and Friday newspapers and summarise reviews, circulating it to STUDIOCANAL Theatrical
- Submit National Press Show applications online with the FDA and booking screening rooms once confirmed.
- Book Regional Press Shows with individual cinemas and FDA where required
- Upload photography to Picselect and STUDIOCANAL Press Site and caption images
- Arrange purchase order numbers and fill out invoices when required
- Manage the STUDIOCANAL media database
- Attend weekly publicity team meetings
- Support publicity team in the organisation and execution of press junkets, talent visits,
festivals, premieres and other events.

. Support for French Film First
